PARTENARIAT AVEC L'IUT DE GESTION DE POITIERS :

          Cela fait de nombreuses années que notre association a noué un partenariat avec la Faculté de Gestion de l'Université de Poitiers, qui s'est avéré être une relation totalement "gagnant-gagnant".  Les étudiants de 2è année, dans le cadre de leurs études, doivent mener un "Projet Tutoré" - dans le but d'ajouter de la pratique, indispensable à la théorie.  Monsieur Jean-Claude Martin, Enseignant et Directeur des Projets à l'IUT, a contacté notre association il y a quelques semaines pour indiquer qu'un nouveau groupe avait sélectionné le projet EW.  "Le groupe de cette année semble très motivé", a-t-il ajouté.  "Je crois que cette équipe conviendra tout à fait pour une démarche humanitaire".

 

Premiers contacts... / Outlining the Project...

          Le groupe de cette année est composé de 5 jeunes filles - Alexandra, Alicia, Florine, Laurine, et Mathilde - qui se spécialisent dans des filières différentes (Ressources Humaines, Finance, et Gestion des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises à l'Internationale) mais qui sont animées par un désir commun de poursuivre un Projet dans le secteur non-marchand, faisant partie de "l'Economie Solidaire"...  "Personnellement, je souhaitais acquérir une expérience concrète, tout en faisant quelque chose de socialement utile", a souligné Laurine.  Mathilde, quant à elle, a fait part de son expérience préalable dans le milieu associatif.  "Je suis de Ménigoute, où il y a un grand Festival Ornithologique tous les ans. Je connais bien le Président, et j'ai déjà travaillé avec différentes associations dans ce cadre".

          Dans les quelques semaines à venir, l'équipe de "GEA" (Gestion des Entreprises) va se pencher sur le blog de notre association pour mieux cerner notre travail, tout en élaborant un Plan de Marketing et un Plan de Communication - afin de mieux vendre les sacs de commerce équitable de l'association.  Nos membres seront disponibles pour aider dans ce travail à chaque étape, tout en offrant aux participants des informations qui ne font pas nécessairement partie du cursus habituel dans une école de gestion - à savoir les opérations de micro-crédit, le commerce équitable, et l'entreprise sociale à la manière de Muhammad Yunus.   Bienvenues aux nouvelles, et tous nos membres leur souhaitent une belle réussite !

EW's Partnership with The Department of Management - University of Poitiers

        
       EW has had an active and successful partnership with the Department of Management at the University of Poitiers for a number of years, in what has proven to be an absolutely "win-win" situation.  Second-year students, as part of their curriculum, must chose some kind of a "project", overseen by a tutor.  This year the Director of Projects, Mr. Jean-Claude Martin, contacted EW to indicate that a group had opted to work specifically with EW.  "This year's group is highly motivated. They're a great bunch, and I think they'll be a very good fit" for a humanitarian organization, he stated.

          This year's team is made up of 5 girls - Alexandra, Alicia, Florine, Laurine and Mathilde - who specialize in different fields (Human Resources, Finance, and International Business) but who all share a common desire to carry out their Project in the non-profit sector, also known as the "Solidarity Economy".   "I personally wanted to have a very concrete, hands-on experience and to do something that would be socially useful", said Laurine.  Mathilde added that she had already had experience in the associative realm and hoped to put this prior knowledge to good use.  "I'm from Ménigoute where we have a large Ornithological Festival every year.  I know the President there and have worked with a number of environmental associations involved".

La Nouvelle Equipe ! / The New Team Working with EW

          In the coming weeks, The new team members will be responsible for learning more about EW, while coming up with a Marketing Plan and an outline for business communications - with an eye toward selling EW fair-trade bags. EW members will be there to help them every step of the way, and offering specific training in different aspects of the "Solidarity Economy" - something which is not usually part of the academic program in French business schools (micro-credit operations, fair-trade, social business ventures à la Muhammad Yunus)...  Best of luck to this great team of young adults !
